Hoosier AMC Club FAQS
Dues to be a member are $20 per year. Your membership will include a membership card, voting rights as well as invitations to club meetings or special private events. And of course, our bi-monthly newsletter full of club news, shows, and fun AMC information. Best of all, the camaraderie with other AMC fans! Members are a great network of information, and quickly become friends. We meet 6 to 8 times a year. Meeting attendance is not mandatory.
YES! We have a classifieds section. We are always happy to run a car for sale ad for non-members wishing to sell an AMC car. One of our members may be looking for what you have…or what you want. So, it benefits everyone! Click here to learn more.
Hoosier AMC Club is a chapter of American Motors Owners Association (AMO), an international AMC club.
Nope! Most of our members are in one or both of the other clubs, but it is not a requirement.
Yes, while we would love to see you at every meet, the Bill Reddig AMC Car Show is held annually in northcentral Indiana and draws 40-50 families and their cars. It is your best chance to meet AMC people, find parts from vendors and show off your AMC vehicle. The date of the show will be posted on our site and in the calendar in Hoosier Ramblings.
YES! We welcome all auto enthusiasts and especially anyone who appreciates any of the AMC family of cars – including Hudson, Nash, Rambler, or Willy’s Jeep. Any AMC fan is our kind of car person! If you are looking for an AMC to purchase, there is a good change one of our members has the car you are looking for or someone knows where one is available.
No. You can be a member from any of the 50 states or outside of the country!
Yes. Credit card payments are managed through PayPal. Transactions are SSL protected, PCI compliant, and encrypted. The club does not keep any record of your credit card information.
There are several ways to become involved with the club. You can express an interest in becoming part of the Board, you can offer to help at club events, contribute your AMC expertise for features in the newsletter or website, help with any set-up or clean-up at shows, etc. And if you have an idea for an Indiana car collection that might be of interest to the club…let us know. Perhaps we can schedule a club meeting there that includes a tour.

The easiest way is to join the club! Or enter a car and then you’ll be on the list to receive information for the following year’s show.
Issues come out bi-monthly. Submission deadlines are third week of even numbered months (February, April, June, August, October, and December).
Our membership runs January through December. Dues are due each January first. Renewal reminders initially sent out in late December/early January. Reminders will also be included in Hoosier Ramblings and reminder emails from the Treasurer.
The club holds meetings six to eight times a year. The location changes throughout the year. It may be a lunch gathering, or a garage tour. You are welcome to host a meeting as well! We love to vary our meetings to offer tours of collections, unique opportunities, and fun experiences for all those who attend. Many of our members are concentrated in the northern portion of the state and Indianapolis. Varying our locations means members do not have to drive too far every meeting.
YES! Join us for a meeting to find out what we are all about – and how you might be ‘my kind of car people.’ We are a family-friendly group…spouses and children are welcome.
YES! Members can advertise a business card for free in the club newsletter. Non-members can advertise business cards for a nominal fee. No advertisements will be allowed for any business that competes with our club or show sponsors. Contact our club president to discuss your ideas.
